City of Bedford issued the following announcement on Sept. 10.
The City of Bedford's Fall Clean Sweep is September 11 - September 20th. Bedford City Sanitation Department crews will pick up residential items that are not normally picked up on trash day (old tires, appliances, construction materials, carpet, and other items). Residents can call 812-279-9222 anytime through September 20th to obtain a work order ticket to have items picked up. If needed, please leave a message.
