The Indiana Republican Party has announced that Lana Keesling has been unanimously elected as the Chairwoman of the Indiana Republican State Committee. Currently serving as the City Clerk of Fort Wayne, Keesling has a notable history in fundraising and political success, having won a historically Democrat-held seat.

Keesling's previous roles include Vice Chair of the Allen County Republican Party and Treasurer of the 3rd District Republican Congressional Committee. Her background includes grassroots organizing and bridging local party leaders with statewide officials. Before her public service career, she worked in an executive capacity within a private company, overseeing finances, IT, and human resources. She holds both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA and has experience as a small business owner.

Chairwoman Keesling expressed her gratitude for her new role: “I am deeply honored by the trust Governor Braun and the Indiana Republican State Committee have placed to serve as our party's Chairwoman,” she said. “I have always been a firm believer in our party's agenda, and I am deeply grateful to have this opportunity to grow our party and deliver for Hoosiers."

Governor Mike Braun congratulated Keesling on her election: “I congratulate Lana Keesling on her election as the Chairwoman of the Indiana Republican Party," he stated. "Lana is a leader who understands commitment, service, and hard work."

Former Interim-Chairwoman Erin Lucas will resume her position as Vice Chair.
