The Indiana Chamber of Commerce is set to host the Environmental Permitting and Reporting Conference on April 16-17. The event, which will be held in downtown Indianapolis or virtually, aims to equip Hoosier companies with the necessary knowledge to avoid penalties from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
"Our complete and comprehensive course will provide you with the information you need to understand environmental permitting programs while giving you the most current updates on reporting issues facing the regulated community," stated David Ober, Senior Vice President of Business Operations and Finance at the Indiana Chamber.
The conference is presented by consulting firm KERAMIDA, Inc., and will cover various session topics such as water, waste and air permitting; industrial stormwater general permits; emergency release preparedness; self-disclosure reporting; and annual emergency planning under the Right-to-Know Act.
Additional discussions will focus on greenhouse gases, sustainability reporting, emissions estimation, air compliance, permit compliance best practices, and environmental legislation.
Registration fees are set at $749 for members of the Indiana Chamber and $849 for non-members. A 20% discount is available for companies sending two or more attendees using promo code GROUP20. Interested parties can view the agenda or register at www.indianachamber.com/conferences.
