The Indiana Republican Party has announced its newly elected leadership for 2025, marking the completion of its leadership elections. Governor Mike Braun has expressed confidence in the new team, which includes Lana Keesling as Chairwoman, Jim Johnson as Vice Chairman, Aaron Minnich as Secretary, and Erin Lucas as Treasurer.
Governor Braun stated, “As a Main Street entrepreneur, I’ve learned that the best way to build a business or organization is by recruiting and hiring the best of the best, and that’s exactly what we’ve done with Chairwoman Lana Keesling, Vice Chairman Jim Johnson, Secretary Aaron Minnich, and Treasurer Erin Lucas. This all-star team will build on our party’s past successes while driving us forward and staying connected to our conservative grassroots leaders as we enact our Freedom and Opportunity Agenda for Indiana.”
The newly appointed Chairwoman, Lana Keesling, also expressed her enthusiasm and commitment to the role. “I am honored to serve as Chairwoman of the Indiana Republican Party, and I’m excited to work alongside an outstanding leadership team that represents all corners of our great state,” Keesling said. “Together with Jim Johnson, Aaron Minnich, and Erin Lucas, our focus is clear: modernize and strengthen our party from the ground up, improve communication and coordination with county chairs and candidates, and just as Governor Braun has shown, deliver the best customer service Hoosier Republicans have ever seen.”
The leadership team brings a diverse range of experiences to their roles. Lana Keesling, from Fort Wayne, serves as City Clerk and has experience in finance, information technology, and human resources. Jim Johnson is the Chair of the Montgomery County GOP and Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for INDOT. Aaron Minnich, a native of New Albany, has been Assistant Secretary for the Indiana Republican Party and held several roles in the Floyd County GOP. Erin Lucas, living in Hendricks County, has experience in non-profit development and management and has served as a Congressional aide.
