As Election Day 2024 approaches, Common Cause Indiana is urging voters to reach out to the nonpartisan Election Protection hotline for assistance. The organization aims to ensure that every vote counts this year.
The hotline offers support in multiple languages. English speakers can call or text 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683). Spanish-speaking voters have access through 888-VE-Y-VOTA (888-839-8682). Assistance in Asian languages is available at 888-API-VOTE (888-274-8683), and Arabic speakers can use 844-YALLA-US (844-925-5287).
Common Cause Indiana participates in the largest nonpartisan election help program, which assists voters with questions or challenges related to casting their ballots. Voters needing help with polling locations, identification requirements, or other voting issues can contact the toll-free hotline staffed by trained nonpartisan volunteers.
Early voting concludes on Monday, November 4. Absentee ballots must be received by 6 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5.
Julia Vaughn, Executive Director of Common Cause Indiana, stated: “If you have any questions, concerns, or problems voting anywhere in Indiana call or text 866-OUR-VOTE to receive nonpartisan assistance. Indiana has work to do when it comes to voter engagement and participation so make sure your voice is heard by voting and making sure your vote counts.”
