The United States Senate has unanimously approved a bipartisan resolution to designate October 7-12, 2024, as "National 4-H Week." The resolution was introduced by Senators Todd Young and Mike Braun from Indiana, along with Senator John Boozman from Arkansas.
4-H is recognized as the largest youth development organization in the United States, reaching nearly six million young individuals across the nation. The resolution acknowledges the significant role that 4-H plays in fostering youth development.
Senator Young expressed his support for the initiative, stating, "4-H offers incredible experiences and teaches real-world skills to our future ag leaders. I’m glad to support this resolution establishing National 4-H Week and recognizing the life-changing opportunities it offers to young Hoosiers."
