Hoosier companies are encouraged to participate in the Indiana Chamber of Commerce's annual Best Places to Work in Indiana competition, which is now open for nominations.

The awards program, themed “Unveiling Excellence” for its 20th year, honors top organizations in the state based on employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. The evaluations and selection process are managed by Workforce Research Group.

“The Best Places to Work in Indiana program is an ideal way to showcase the many great companies we have here in the Hoosier state and what they do to make the lives of their workers and communities in which they live and work that much better,” says Indiana Chamber President and CEO Vanessa Green Sinders. “I find the creative and innovative ways these companies draw and retain talent and improve the lives of not just their employees, but those of their families as well, truly inspiring."

To take part, employers must complete a questionnaire and fill out an anonymous engagement and satisfaction survey. All applicants will receive a detailed report analyzing strengths and opportunities for improvement in their workplace culture.

Winners are selected in four categories: small companies (15-74 U.S. employees), medium companies (75-249 U.S. employees), large companies (250-999 U.S. employees), and major companies (1,000 or more U.S. employees).

Selected companies will be honored on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at a masquerade-themed awards dinner at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis.

Winners will also be featured in a special supplement to BizVoice® magazine and through Inside INdiana Business.
