Employers aiming to enhance the health and productivity of their workforce are encouraged to send representatives to the 2024 Indiana Wellness Summit on September 12-13 at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis.
The two-day summit, a collaboration between the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and the Wellness Council of Indiana (WCI), will gather health and wellness professionals from across Indiana. The event aims to share best practices that promote well-being in workplaces and communities throughout the state.
“Through this summit, we aim to empower employers with the insights and tools needed to foster a healthier, more productive workforce,” said Jennifer Pferrer, WCI executive director. “By investing in employee wellness, companies can enhance productivity, reduce healthcare costs and create a more positive work environment."
“This event is a unique opportunity for business leaders to engage with industry experts and discover innovative wellness strategies that can be implemented in the workplace,” she added.
The summit will feature sessions such as “The Role of Strategic Well-Being in Effective Leave Management”; “Pregnant Workers Fairness Act: What Employers Need to Know”; “Burning Bright: Retaining Young Talent Through Burnout Awareness”; “The Four-Day/32-Hour Work Week IS Possible”; “Indiana Healthy Communities Panel”; and “Revolutionary Leader: How to Lead in a World That’s Set Up for You to Follow.”
Attendees can participate in over 30 educational sessions, visit a wellness expo, attend a reception for WCI members, join an Awards Luncheon, network with peers, and more.
Keynote presentations include “Staying Healthy in a Culture That’s Anything But!” by speaker and television chef Zonya Foco and “Addressing the Heart and Soul of Employee Well-Being” by workplace well-being thought leader Dr. Jessica Grossmeier.
Registration fees are $449 for Indiana Chamber or WCI members, or $549 for non-members. Single day registrations are available at $349 or $449 respectively. Further details and registration links can be found at www.indianawellnesssummit.com.
