The Indiana Chamber of Commerce is organizing the 2025 Indiana Workers’ Compensation Conference on April 23 at the Ritz Charles in Carmel. The event will also offer a virtual attendance option. It aims to provide businesses with strategies to prevent workplace injuries and manage workers' compensation premium rates.
Vanessa Green Sinders, President and CEO of the Indiana Chamber, states, “Regardless of an employer’s industry or size, keeping workers safe and cutting avoidable costs is top of mind. The Indiana Workers’ Compensation Conference will provide a comprehensive set of tools to help employers accomplish both those goals.”
The conference is presented by Kightlinger & Gray, LLP. Topics include managing insurance premiums through experience modification factors, understanding state forms, handling claims from injury through litigation, detecting mental health issues affecting recovery, creating effective employee handbooks, and navigating real-life scenarios in workers’ compensation.
A roundtable discussion with Kightlinger & Gray attorneys will be part of the event along with an overview of resources available on the Worker’s Compensation Board of Indiana website. Registration fees are $449 for members of the Indiana Chamber and $549 for non-members. A 20% discount is available for companies registering two or more attendees using promo code GROUP20.
