The Indiana Chamber of Commerce is preparing for its annual Chamber Day Reception, a significant event in the legislative networking calendar. Scheduled for March 11 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom, this event offers attendees an opportunity to engage with policymakers and influencers from the Statehouse.

Governor Mike Braun will be the featured guest at the reception. He is expected to share his vision for Indiana's future and discuss proposals aimed at benefiting employers and the workforce.

Vanessa Green Sinders, President and CEO of the Indiana Chamber, emphasized the importance of this gathering: “The Chamber Day Reception occurs at the midpoint of the Indiana General Assembly, a time when key legislative decisions are being made and effective business community and constituent involvement can make a real difference,” she said. “We urge business leaders to join us and are grateful to have Governor Braun share his outlook and for all the legislators and state officials who will be in attendance.”

The reception marks the conclusion of a full day of events known as Chamber Day at the Statehouse. This program, presented by Thompson Thrift in collaboration with the Indiana Chamber Executives Association, includes discussions on public policy, advocacy efforts, partnership power dynamics, updates from legislative leaders, and insights from new lawmakers.

During a luncheon on that day, Secretary of Education Dr. Katie Jenner will speak while honoring the 2025 Small Business of the Year. Nominations for this award are open until February 25 via www.indianachamber.com/smallbizaward.

Attendance fees for both events have been set at $99 each or $179 if registered together. More details can be found at www.indianachamber.com/specialevents.

Thompson Thrift leads as presenting sponsor for all activities associated with Chamber Day. Eli Lilly and Company sponsors the reception specifically. Other notable sponsors include AT&T Indiana, Charter Spectrum TV/Internet/Voice, Google as diamond sponsors; Bank of America as gold sponsor; along with several silver sponsors like Apex Clean Energy and Boston Scientific among others.
