Indiana Republican Chairwoman Erin Lucas has expressed support for Governor Braun's decision to fly flags at full staff on January 20, 2025. This date marks the inauguration of Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States.

Lucas stated, "Monday, January 20, 2025, will be a historic day for our country, as Donald J. Trump will return to the White House and become our 47th President, and it’s the right decision by Governor Braun for our flags at state government facilities to be returned to full-staff for that one momentous day."

She further added that with the leadership of President Trump and Governor Braun, their conservative policies are expected to positively impact the nation starting from this significant day.
