Indiana Republican Party Chairwoman Erin Lucas has issued a statement following the inauguration of Mike Braun as the Governor of Indiana. The event marks Braun's start as the 52nd governor of the state.
Lucas expressed her congratulations to Braun, stating, “Following a landslide victory at the ballot box, I am honored to congratulate Mike Braun on his inauguration as the 52nd Governor of the State of Indiana. The Indiana Republican Party looks forward to working with the new administration to fulfill the historic mandate he has been given."
She highlighted that values such as faith, family, and community are significant to Hoosiers and commended Braun for representing these convictions. Lucas also mentioned that last November, Indiana voters made a "decisive choice in favor of Freedom and Opportunity" by electing a governor with a record of conservative leadership.
