U.S. Senator Todd Young and his team have assisted over 2,500 Indiana residents in resolving issues with federal agencies throughout 2024. This effort has resulted in more than $12.1 million being returned to taxpayers in the state.

Since taking office in 2017, Senator Young has aided 16,973 constituents in recovering approximately $100 million from various federal entities.

In 2024, two-thirds of the recovered funds came from cases involving the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), with nearly $8.2 million returned to Hoosiers. An additional $3.7 million was reclaimed through Social Security and Veterans Affairs claims.

Senator Young's constituent service team also assists with expediting passport applications, obtaining missing commendation medals for veterans, navigating international adoption cases, among other services.

"When Hoosiers are improperly denied benefits they are owed or when the federal bureaucracy is moving too slowly, inquiries from members of Congress can kickstart the process," Senator Young stated. "Our team is always committed to helping Hoosiers resolve issues involving federal agencies."

Residents who believe they may need assistance with a federal agency are encouraged to visit young.senate.gov and click on "Help for Hoosiers."
