Indiana Republican Party Press Secretary Griffin Reid has commented on Dr. Jennifer McCormick's entry into the Indiana gubernatorial race. Reid stated, "With the primary over, it is time to officially welcome Dr. Jennifer McCormick to the Governor's race." He expressed concerns about McCormick's campaign approach, suggesting that her actions might be misleading to voters: "Throughout the course of this campaign, Hoosier's deserve an opportunity to get to know the real Jennifer McCormick, although her well-known streak of misleading Hoosier's by saying and doing anything to get elected might make that task difficult."

Reid characterized McCormick as a "liberal Democrat running to promote the Biden agenda in Indiana," adding that "time and again, Hoosiers have rejected extreme Democrats like Dr. McCormick." He emphasized the party's intention to support Mike Braun in ensuring a similar outcome in November.

Highlighting the state's progress under Republican leadership, Reid noted, "Under Republican leadership, Indiana is on a historic upward trajectory and continues to climb." He urged voters to oppose placing what he described as "Joe Biden's ally" in office and instead support Braun for continued advancement: "It is critical for the future of our state that Hoosiers come together to reject putting Joe Biden's ally in the Governor's office, and support Mike Braun to continue to move Indiana forward."
