Chairwoman Anne Hathaway issued a statement in response to Governor Eric Holcomb's eighth and final State of the State address. In her remarks, she praised the governor's leadership and the state's achievements under his tenure.

"Governor Holcomb said it best, 'the state of our state is strong! And the rest of the world has taken notice, and they want in on it.' Tonight, the Governor reminded us how powerful the Indiana model is," Hathaway stated. She emphasized that Indiana has become a leading place to live and work due to Holcomb's leadership alongside the Indiana General Assembly.

Hathaway also noted that despite these successes, there is no intention to become complacent. "He and our Republican supermajorities will continue to focus on policies that improve the lives of all Hoosiers," she added.

She concluded by congratulating Governor Holcomb on his successful final address and expressed anticipation for his continued efforts to advance Indiana.
