Senator Braun has expressed strong support for Senator J.D. Vance's selection as former President Donald Trump's running mate. In a statement released from Milwaukee, Braun praised Vance's understanding of the challenges faced by American families and highlighted his contributions to legislation.
"President Trump made an exceptional pick in J.D. Vance to be his running mate and serve as our next Vice President," Braun stated. He recalled first meeting Vance when his book was published and being impressed by his ideas for revitalizing the industrial Midwest.
Braun further noted their collaboration in the Senate, particularly on the Railway Safety Act, which Vance led following the East Palestine disaster. "J.D. Vance knows firsthand the experience of the forgotten American family and is proof that there’s no limit to how high you can rise in our country with hard work and strong values."
