William Santiago, Regional Director of Forge Industrial Staffing, stated that the company is proud to support the WalkMS event. This involvement aligns with the company's commitment to community service and engagement. Santiago shared his statement in a news release dated May 13.

"It's incredibly moving to see our team so engaged in supporting such a powerful cause," said Santiago, according to Forge. "Events like WalkMS not only bring us together as a community but also remind us of the crucial role we play in making a difference in the lives of others. We are proud to stand with the MS community and contribute to this fight."

According to the same news release, Forge teams from Elkhart and South Bend participated in a WalkMS event on Saturday, May 11. The event took place at Indiana University South Bend where Forge employees played a significant role in setting up, running, and supporting this "important initiative."

WalkMS is a non-profit organization that organizes events nationwide to unite the multiple sclerosis (MS) community, according to their website. The group has successfully raised over $1 billion for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. "The new Walk MS experience is an opportunity for people with MS to be surrounded by their friends, family, and loved ones – a meaningful expression of the support system that’s critical every day of their MS journey."

Forge reported in the news release that the WalkMS event in South Bend attracted 227 participants across 37 teams and raised $16,211 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
