Bethel University’s Center for Computing will be holding a Day of Computing on Mon., March 6, from 1-8 p.m., in collaboration with the Office of Admission.

The event, “Being Secure in Today’s Digital World,” will feature three cyber security panel discussions:

The goal of the event is to enable participants to learn to be safe as a user, learn about a career in cyber security, experience hands-on cyber security activities.

Prospective students will experience an admissions presentation followed by a campus tour, guidance on how to find the right major or minor and dinner in the dining commons.

Additionally, Bethel will offer a security check for personal devices from 5-6:30 p.m.

The day will conclude with a hacking competition, sponsored by Crowe, with $1,000 in Amazon gift cards for first through third place. The event is free, but students must register online by Feb. 20.
