Carmel Clay Schools is proud to announce that 23 Carmel High School seniors have been selected as candidates for the United States Presidential Scholars Program. This is more than twice the number of qualifying candidates from the previous year. The program recognizes distinguished graduating high school seniors, identified for their overall academic achievement and SAT or ACT scores. All graduating students are eligible and only 5,000 nationwide are selected as final candidates.
These students will now apply for the prestigious top recognition awarded to two students from each state. In both 2021 and 2022, a Carmel High School senior was selected as the Presidential Scholar from Indiana.
