Noblesville Police Department Implements New Business Watch Program

2

City of Noblesville issued the following announcement on Nov. 3.

The Noblesville Police Department is pleased to announce the implementation of our new Business Watch program. The goal of Business Watch is to partner with local businesses

and create valuable training programs to assist in shoplifting deterrence and prevention, human trafficking, and fraud detection. Business watch will also open a direct line of

communication between Noblesville business owners/managers and the police department.

Noblesville Police Chief John Mann stated, “We are excited to launch this new and innovative program for our local businesses just in time for the busy holiday shopping season.”

Noblesville Police Department will begin signing up local businesses through an application process starting the second week of November. Chief Mann stated, “This will allow our

agency to ensure we have up-to-date contact information for keyholders from those businesses who wish to participate which is a crucial step in solving crimes quickly.”

If you are a business owner or manager within the City of Noblesville limits and are wanting more information on the Business Watch Program, please reach out to Community

Outreach Sergeant Greg Kehl at 317-776-6340 ext. 1253 or by e-mail at gkehl@noblesville.in.us.
