U.S. Senator Todd Young has expressed his support for Tulsi Gabbard as the next Director of National Intelligence. In a statement released today, Young emphasized the importance of respecting and supporting American intelligence officers worldwide.

Young highlighted his discussions with Gabbard on various issues to ensure that intelligence professionals are well-supported and policymakers receive unbiased information under her leadership. He stated, “I have done what the Framers envisioned for senators to do: use the consultative process to seek firm commitments, in this case commitments that will advance our national security, which is my top priority as a former Marine Corps intelligence officer.”

Having secured these commitments, Young announced his intention to support Gabbard's nomination and expressed eagerness to collaborate with her in protecting national security.

Gabbard has provided Senator Young with a letter regarding her nomination.
