Indiana Republican Party Chairwoman Erin Lucas has called for a caucus to fill the vacancy in Indiana State Representative District 42. This follows the resignation of State Rep. Alan Morrison, who is set to join the Braun administration as head of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
Chairwoman Lucas will oversee the caucus, scheduled for January 14th at 6:30 p.m. EST at Parke County 4-H Fairgrounds in Rockville, Indiana. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. EST. Only credentialed precinct committeemen or proxies, media members, and party guests are allowed to attend.
Interested candidates must contact the Secretary of the Indiana Republican Party and file necessary forms by January 10th at 5:00 p.m. EST to be eligible for consideration.
Media representatives planning to cover the event need to RSVP by noon on January 13th, directed to Griffin Reid, Communications Director.
