The Indiana Chamber of Commerce is set to start 2025 with the addition of 24 new directors to its board. The board comprises over 200 individuals from member companies representing various industries across the state. These members include presidents, CEOs, and high-level executives.

All newly appointed board members will serve three-year terms until the fall of 2027.

"We’re adding many talented professionals from around the state as we head into a pivotal year," stated Indiana Chamber President and CEO Vanessa Green Sinders. "We will call on our board members to apply their specific knowledge and talents to get engaged and help shape not only the Chamber’s future but the state’s as well."

Sinders added, "These new leaders come from key sectors of the state’s economy and will also help us bolster efforts toward initiating action that aligns with the goals in our Indiana Prosperity 2035 economic vision plan."

The new directors were officially installed during the Chamber's fall board meeting in November. Among them are Scott Bowers of Hoosier Energy, Christopher Broome from Draper, Ben Brydges at dormakaba Americas, Mike Dilts at Shiel Sexton, Nate Feldman of IBJ Media, Mike Godard from Indiana State University, Joey Graziano at Pacers Sports & Entertainment, Nick Heiny at Metal Technologies, Nick Hoagland at Backhaul Direct LLC, Ian Hyatt from Purdue University, Kent Kramer of Goodwill Industries of Central & Southern Indiana, Bob Kuzman at MISO, Jim Lancaster from Zimmer Biomet, John Martin at LDI Ltd., Geoffrey Mearns from Ball State University, Vince Parisi at NIPSCO, David Parker from USIC, Michael Roch at Kimball International, Megan Savage with The Heritage Group, Robert Shegog of Recorder Media Group, Nathan Stallings at Matrix Integration, Jason Troutwine with Reid Foundation/Reid Health; Paul Witte at First Bank Richmond; and Ram Yeleti from Community Health Network.

The board's leadership will be under Melissa Proffitt who takes on her role as chair. Proffitt is an employee benefits attorney based in Indianapolis and serves as partner-in-charge of client relations for Ice Miller LLP.
