Health centers across Indiana have united to form the Clinically Integrated Network of Indiana (CINI), aiming to enhance healthcare access, quality, and affordability statewide. The network's launch represents a significant step in transforming healthcare delivery and payment systems to improve health equity for 350,000 Hoosiers.

CINI will see these health centers continue as separate entities while collaborating on initiatives that use data-driven improvements, evidence-based practices, and shared resources to boost efficiency. Patients will retain their current healthcare providers without changes in location, services, or costs.

The network has established partnerships with key stakeholders including Anthem, CareSource, Managed Health Services, MDwise, and Humana. CINI is also engaging with state government agencies to align with Indiana's healthcare priorities.

Angela Boyer, Chief Executive Officer of CINI, stated: “We believe that our state deserves the delivery of high-value whole-person health care. CINI will allow health centers to provide better care and reduce costs by collectively becoming more accountable for the value of the care they deliver. This collaboration is all about unity in community.”

Ann Lundy, CEO of Indiana Health Centers Inc., emphasized the importance of this initiative: “Indiana’s new Clinically Integrated Network is a significant step forward for our state. By enabling collaborative partnerships across the healthcare spectrum, we’re moving toward a more sustainable, patient-centered healthcare system.”

CINI reflects a broader national trend towards clinically integrated networks where providers collaborate under shared clinical protocols and value-based models. As a wholly owned subsidiary of the Indiana Primary Health Care Association, CINI aims to create an equitable healthcare model benefiting all residents.
