Indiana Republican Party Chairwoman Anne Hathaway has released a statement regarding Mark Messmer's primary victory in Indiana's 8th Congressional District.

Hathaway extended her congratulations to Messmer, stating, "We would like to extend a huge congratulations to Mark Messmer on his candidacy for Indiana’s 8th congressional district!" She emphasized Messmer's qualifications by highlighting his background as a small business owner, active community member, and his 16 years of experience in the Indiana General Assembly. According to Hathaway, these attributes make him "a strong candidate to represent the interests of the 8th district in Congress."
