Michael Bravo, George Hartley, and Patricia Latouche have been sentenced to federal prison for their roles in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. Bravo, 27, from Conroe, Texas, and Hartley, 66, from Evansville, each received ten-year sentences. Latouche, 44, also from Evansville, was sentenced to 140 months. Each will serve five years of supervised release following their prison terms.
Court documents reveal that between June and November 2020, the group distributed over 30 pounds of methamphetamine in the Evansville area. Bravo transported the drugs from Texas to his co-conspirators in Evansville. Hartley and another individual further distributed it to mid-level dealers within the organization, including Latouche.
“Methamphetamine and other deadly controlled substances have devastating impacts on users, their loved ones, and our communities,” stated Zachary A. Myers, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana. He emphasized that drug traffickers must be held accountable for the harm they cause while seeking profits.
The investigation was conducted by the DEA and Evansville Police Department. U.S. District Judge Richard L. Young imposed the sentences.
U.S. Attorney Myers expressed gratitude towards Assistant U.S. Attorney Lauren Wheatley for prosecuting the case.
