Indiana's manufacturing sector continues to play a pivotal role in the state's economy. The Indiana Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2024 list of Indiana’s Best Places to Work in Manufacturing, recognizing companies with commendable workplace cultures.

This year's honorees hail from various locations, including Evansville, Indianapolis, Jasper, Noblesville, Poseyville, Sharpsville, and Urbana. "It’s a pleasure to once again honor Indiana’s manufacturers emphasizing strong workplace cultures and employee well-being," said Vanessa Green Sinders, President and CEO of the Indiana Chamber. She added that manufacturing serves as an economic anchor and provides career advancement opportunities for Hoosiers.

The rankings will be revealed at the Best IN Manufacturing Awards Luncheon on December 11. The event will also announce the winner of the Coolest Thing Made IN Indiana competition. Sponsors include Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership as the spirit sponsor, Kalenborn Abresist Corporation as gold sponsor, and Evonik Tippecanoe Laboratories as silver sponsor.

The selection process was managed by the Workforce Research Group through employer reports and employee surveys. Companies participating in the program receive evaluations highlighting their strengths and areas for improvement.

Kalenborn Abresist Corporation has consistently secured first place since the competition's inception two years ago. Winners will also be featured in a special section of BizVoice® magazine by the Indiana Chamber.

The awards luncheon is open to public attendance with tickets available on the chamber's website.
