Indiana Republican Party Chairman Randy Head issued a statement on July 13, 2024, regarding the passing of Jim Morris.
"Indiana lost a lifelong Hoosier and community leader today. Jim Morris left an impression that will be felt for generations to come. Our state capital is the international destination it is today due to Jim's many contributions," Head stated.
He added, "We send our thoughts and prayers to the entire Morris family. Thank you for sharing Jim with us all these years."
