The Bethel University Women's Basketball team had more Crossroads League woes vs. Grace College Wednesday night, losing 75-47 in the Gates Gymnasium.
The Pilots struggled defensively in the first quarter as Karlee Feldman from Grace College grabbed 10 points in the paint. Senior Katie Kinker and Sophomore Abby Williams tried to keep the offense alive each making a couple buckets in the first quarter which ended 29-15, Grace.
The second quarter didn't fare much better for the Pilots as they only shot 20% from the field and only scored just 11 points, mainly from Kinker and Sophomore Maiah Shelton.
In the second half, the Pilots found themselves down by more than 20 the remainder of the game which ended 75-47.
Both teams were unable to keep quality possession of the ball with the turnovers nearly even with Grace having 14 and Bethel having 15.
Freshman Mariah Claywell and senior Katie Kinker led Bethel in points with eight apiece, while Maiah Shelton was close behind with seven points, and adding six rebounds and two steals.
Bethel's overall record falls to 5-14 with a Crossroads League record of 1-9.
