The Bethel College Men's Soccer team hosted the Ottawa Braves in James Cottage's return the Bethel. The Threshers were held scoreless by the Braves in a 3-0 loss.
The Braves opened up the scoring in the in the 22nd minute on a through ball that a Brave was able to settle, turn and beat the keeper.
Bethel trailed 1-0 entering the intermission.
Ottawa added to their lead in the 42nd minute following a set piece from the corner that rattled around the box following a shot. After it settled at the foot of a Brave, he was able to find the back of the net.
In the 72nd minute, the Braves were able to stretch their lead once more after a corner kick.
The Threshers were out-shot in the contest 18(9) to 13(4).
Bethel will be back on the pitch on Saturday, October 15th as they take on Kansas Wesleyan at 7:30 PM.
