Columbus City Utilities Building Closing September 6 for Renovations

Columbus City Utilities office building, located at 1111 McClure Road in Columbus, will be closing its main entrance beginning September 6, 2022 in order to accommodate renovations to the building.

Beginning September 6, no customers will be permitted to enter the building. Columbus City Utilities staff will be relocated to another CCU facility to continue daily operations. Construction is expected to be completed in December 2022.

The drive-thru window will be open for regular hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday) and all business operations will be conducted via the drive-thru. Staff will also be answering phones as normal during construction.

The Columbus City Utilities building opened in June 1987. The scheduled renovation marks the first in the building’s 35-year history. Renovations will include an update to the building’s entrance, lobby, and business office, and will also include upgrades to enhance building security.

Customers wishing to make payments may do so via the drive-up window, via phone by calling (812) 376-8861 or online at columbusutilities.org.

CCU staff thanks the public for their patience and understanding during this renovation project.
