Trine University has promoted Ryan Robinet to the new position of associate vice president for university advancement.

“Ryan’s enthusiasm for higher education and Trine University have shown through the outstanding work he has done here, and I’m excited to see how support for Trine and its students will continue to grow as he flourishes in this new role,” said Kent D. Stucky, J.D., vice president for university advancement.

As associate vice president, Robinet will provide leadership and direction to frame and execute a technology roadmap for advancement operations, helping guide strategic efforts for fundraising programs and outreach, including alumni relations, annual giving, prospect research, donor relations and stewardship, gift planning, major gifts, planned giving, database management and comprehensive campaigns. He also will lead and direct day-to-day operations in support of advancing the university's mission and strategic plan.

Robinet joined Trine’s Office for University Advancement in 2020 as assistant vice president for development after nearly a decade of experience at enhancing donor giving experiences. His prior experience included work at Albion College in Michigan as director of philanthropy and at Wilson-Bennett Technology in Cabot, Arkansas, where he was responsible for management of more than 80 tele-fundraising campaigns.

“I'm so excited to start this next chapter at Trine University,” Robinet said. “During the last year and a half, we've completed the Invest in Excellence campaign, broke ground on two new buildings and laid the framework for future growth and development here in Angola and beyond. This team is incredible and I'm looking forward to seeing what the future holds!”

Robinet holds a Bachelor of Arts in history and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in marketing from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan, and a Master of Arts in philanthropy and development from LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia. He also is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
