The recent shameful book and press tour of former Attorney General Bill Barr gives the biased corporate media yet another opportunity to pretend that those of us who maintain deep skepticism regarding the accuracy of the 2020 presidential election suffer from some delusion.

Far from it.

We have valid reasons to doubt the official vote tallies in key states, for reasons I will explain below. If you agree with me that the Nov 3rd, 2020 vote was tainted, you are hardly alone. According to even CNN, their polling shows that a majority of Republicans share that doubt.

In fact, the leftist cable network admitted this point in a recent article titled: “Voters Who Think Trump Won Are the Most Enthusiastic to Vote in 2022.” Among enthusiastic, motivated midterm voters, 86% of them do not believe that Biden won legitimately. America First patriots remain committed, because it is the wound that will not heal until it is honestly addressed.

Electing the right Secretaries of State in every state of our union now represents a more important task that ever, as the stewards of our elections.

But guess what, Hoosiers? Your current appointed Secretary of State Holli Sullivan refuses to even discuss this crucial topic. Here is the AP reporting on Sullivan: “Amid the national debate over voting restrictions and election integrity, Sullivan declined to say whether she agreed with former President Donald Trump’s false claim of nationwide voter fraud in 2020.”

It is stunning and incredibly regrettable that Holli Sullivan wants to be elected as the chief election officer of the Hoosier State, and she will not even acknowledge the most controversial election in American history. Her dodge is disqualifying. She is not worthy of the support of America First adherents, nor qualified to lead this critically important office in Indiana.

In clear contrast to Sullivan, let me make my own position on 2020 crystal clear. The 2020 election was flawed and the outcome is questionable. There are three main components to the scam that was perpetrated upon the citizens of Indiana, and against all Americans.

The first was the last-minute, and largely illegal, move to arbitrarily change election practices and to violate statutes. Officials in states like Pennsylvania and Georgia enabled mass mail-in voting, without proper safeguards or required new legislation.

These violations fed into the second major element of the flawed 2020 election, the total violation of the letter and spirit of the 14th Amendment requiring Equal Protection. Gameday voters, who overwhelmingly leaned to Trump, were subjected to serious scrutiny (properly so!) compared to drop-box and mass mail-in voters who favored Biden. This disparity represented a fraction of the Equal Protection Clause violations that spurred the Supreme Court to intervene in Bush v. Gore in 2000. In fact, 2020 was Bush v. Gore on steroids.

The third aspect of the flawed 2020 vote was the blatant censorship and intervention of Big Tech to suppress the most blockbuster story of that election season, the NY Post revelations about the Hunter Biden laptop and its proof of the Joe Biden’s leadership of a family criminal cartel. That Biden cartel sold out America to the most corrupt regimes in the world, from Russia to China. Had American voters known the full truth about the “Big Guy’s” complicity with foreign powers, perhaps the November 3rd, 2020 outcome would have been very different.

How will I make Indiana a model of election sanctity for all America?

Specifically, I will enact three reforms as Secretary of State of Indiana, to become a prototype for all of America to emulate. First, we must move to paper ballots with a physical audit trail that cannot be hacked. Second, we must insist on identification to vote, to certify that every ballot comes from a legitimate American citizen. Finally, we must mandate that every Hoosier vote in-person if possible, with important exceptions for those who cannot physically get to the polls, including the infirm and those serving America on deployment, as I myself served in the US Army.

With these reforms, we can ensure that we never repeat the mistakes of 2020 and we can make Indiana a model state for election sanctity.

Diego Morales is candidate for Secretary of State of Indiana. He is an entrepreneur, Army veteran, and legal immigrant who graduated from Indiana University and the MBA program of Purdue University.
