Trine University recently issued the following announcement.
Members of the public can enjoy Trine University home athletic competitions for no charge during Community Day events on Tuesday, Oct. 19.
The Thunder men’s soccer team (6-6-1, 1-1-1 MIAA conference) and women’s volleyball team (13-12, 3-2 MIAA) will both play in home matches that day against conference foes. The soccer team, which also will celebrate senior night, hosts Adrian College beginning at 4 p.m. at Weaver Field, and the women’s volleyball team will face off against Alma College in Hershey Hall beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Members of local soccer and volleyball teams who choose to attend are encouraged to wear their game jerseys.
