The Convention of States set social media records for its June 28 livestream. | COS
The Convention of States (COS) Indiana has issued the following press release:
The Convention of States (COS) Indiana Live Round Table on June 28 set a record for reach and views in Facebook and YouTube.
The June Round Table featured the COS Indiana Regional Captains in the first segment. Regional Captains are responsible for the outreach and education of the citizens of Indiana concerning the drive for an Article V Convention of States. The goal of a convention is to adopt constitutional amendments for term limits of federal Senators and Representatives, a balanced budget amendment, and limits upon the power of the federal government.
The second segment of the Round Table featured Paul Phillips, COS Indiana state Legislative Liaison, demonstrating COS University. This project educates people about our constitution and self-government. State Director Dale Parrish presented information about several other free educational resources available from COS.
The final segment of the Round Table is known as “I Want to Know…” and hosted by John Aukerman. This is a live Q&A session with the COS Indiana executive leadership team.
This is the public’s opportunity to communicate directly with our leadership about a convention of states or other relevant topics on the minds of people from our state. For example, one of the topics touched upon as the result of an audience question was critical race theory. We are currently working to schedule political leaders and candidates from Indiana to appear. If you would like to join our COS Indiana Live Round Table as a featured guest, contact our event coordinator, Rick Lyon, at rick.lyon@cosaction.com.
The next COS Indiana Live Round Table will be July 26 at 7 p.m. Eastern time. Use the links below to join us. Use the chat to interact live with the leaders making a difference in our state and using the constitution to save the constitution.
COS Indiana Live Round Table airs live on YouTube and on Facebook. Past discussions are archived and available for view on both channels.
