The United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana announced on May 6 that registration is now open for the 2026 Virtual Power Act event. The court has made available a flyer containing both a web address and a QR code to help interested individuals access the registration page.

The Power Act event is designed to encourage attorneys to provide pro bono legal services, specifically aimed at empowering survivors of domestic violence. The virtual format allows participants to join remotely, making it more accessible for legal professionals across the district.

To register, individuals can visit the provided link or scan the QR code on the flyer. After completing their registration information online, participants will receive an access link approximately two days before the program begins. Registration closes on May 15, giving interested attorneys just over a week from the announcement date to sign up.

The court said this initiative aligns with ongoing efforts to support survivors of domestic violence by connecting them with qualified legal assistance. Details about accessing and registering for the event are available through resources shared by the court.

As preparations continue for this year’s virtual program, organizers hope increased participation will strengthen support networks and improve outcomes for those affected by domestic violence.
