Daily estimated slaughter figures indicated that approximately 110,000 head were processed on the reporting day, compared to an estimated 105,000 a week ago and an actual count of 122,580 a year earlier. For cows and bulls specifically, bids ranged by region: nationally breakers ranged from $283 to $330 per hundredweight; boners from $276 to $353; leans from $287 to $358; bulls from $300 to $378.
