INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Chairwoman Anne Hathaway has commented on Congressman Larry Bucshon's decision not to seek reelection at the conclusion of his current term.

In her statement, Hathaway expressed pride in Bucshon's service: "We are very proud of Congressman Bucshon's many years of dedicated service to all Hoosiers, but especially to those in the 8th district." She highlighted his unique background, noting that he served in the U.S. Navy Reserves and worked as a practicing physician and surgeon.

Hathaway acknowledged Bucshon's efforts over the past 13 years: "Congressman Bucshon has worked hard over the last 13 years to improve the lives of Hoosiers and will leave Congress having made Indiana a better place." She concluded by wishing him and his family well for the future.
