The Illinois Primary Health Care Association (IPHCA) has released its July 2024 monthly bulletin, providing a comprehensive guide to emergency preparedness in anticipation of a long, hot summer. The bulletin offers advice on keeping patients, staff, and facilities safe from extreme heat and promotes skin safety as part of UV Awareness Month.
In addition to these topics, the IPHCA is calling for nominations for its annual awards and has provided a preview of the speaker lineup for the 2024 conference. The official conference app is set to launch in July.
The Summer Member Forum will take place on July 16, focusing on issues related to the aging population. The bulletin also highlights several health observances in July: National Cleft & Craniofacial Awareness & Prevention Month, Healthy Vision Month, and World Hepatitis Day on July 28.
Other updates include information about a new Dental Assistant Training Program and various trainings, webinars, and meetings organized by IPHCA's Clinical, Oral Health, IQIN, and O&E teams.
For more details or to access the interactive flipbook version of the bulletin, readers can visit the IPHCA website or download a PDF version of the magazine.
