Indiana small business leaders have expressed support for Governor Mike Braun’s recent State of the State address. Following the speech, Natalie Carroll, Indiana State Director for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), highlighted the administration’s focus on maintaining a favorable environment for small business owners.

Carroll stated: “Indiana’s small business community is thankful to have a Governor and General Assembly that continues to prioritize Main Street and advance policies that strengthen the economy. This legislative session, Indiana small business owners are hopeful that lawmakers will address the rising business insurance costs and advance legal reform legislation to lessen frivolous lawsuits targeted at small businesses. We look forward to continuing to work with Governor Braun and members of the General Assembly on behalf of Indiana’s small businesses.”

The NFIB emphasized its intent to collaborate with state officials during the current legislative session, focusing on issues such as increasing insurance expenses and legal reforms affecting small enterprises.
