U.S. Senator Todd Young visited the 122nd Fighter Wing in Fort Wayne on June 1 for an update and a tour of the base.
“I am always impressed by the professionalism of the Blacksnakes and their contributions to our national security,” said Senator Young. “The 122nd Fighter Wing is a staple of the Fort Wayne community and continues to excel in ongoing missions around the world.”
Young served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, leading recruitment efforts and earning an honorable discharge as a captain after a decade, according to the official website. He graduated with honors from the United States Naval Academy and earned degrees including an MBA from the University of Chicago, a master’s from the School of Advanced Study in London, and a law degree from Indiana University, according to the official website.
Young operates offices in Indianapolis, New Albany, Fort Wayne, Valparaiso, and Washington; he supports Indiana constituents through responsive services and community ties, and he promotes conservative solutions for economic growth and national security drawing on his background. He lives with his wife Jenny and their four children in Johnson County, Indiana, according to the official website.
