U.S. Senator Todd Young has acknowledged the contributions of Hoosier students who participated in his fall internship program, which took place in Washington, D.C., and Indianapolis. The interns were involved in daily operations and special projects concerning legislation, communications, and constituent services.

Caroline Prentice, a recent graduate from Martinsville who studied at the University of South Carolina, completed her internship in Indianapolis. The group of interns based in Washington, D.C., included Josie Allen from Vincennes, a senior at Indiana University Bloomington; Jesse Ryman from Bristol, a recent graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University; Sam Syroney from Evansville, also a senior at Indiana University Bloomington; and Maggie Davis from Indianapolis, another recent graduate of Indiana University Bloomington.

Senator Young’s office provides internship opportunities throughout the year in both his Washington, D.C., and Indianapolis offices. This program allows students to gain firsthand experience with the legislative branch of government while serving the people of Indiana.

Prospective applicants can find more information about applying for an internship by visiting Senator Young’s internship webpage or calling 202-224-5623. Additionally, Senator Young has released a video offering further details about the program.
