Purdue University announced on Apr. 17 that the Córdova Recreational Sports Center (CoRec) in West Lafayette will be used as a voting site for the upcoming primary election. Early voting at the facility is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, while Election Day voting will take place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 5.

The announcement states that any registered voter in Tippecanoe County can vote at this location or any other designated sites within the county. Information about all early voting locations and schedules, as well as Election Day sites in Tippecanoe County, is available through local resources.

To facilitate access for voters, Purdue has reserved parking spaces just north and northwest of the CoRec along North Martin Jischke Drive and in the lot southeast of Rankin Track and Field Complex. Voters are instructed to use the east entrance of the CoRec along North Martin Jischke Drive when arriving to cast their ballots.

According to Purdue’s statement, individuals who are in line by closing time—4 p.m. on April 21 or 6 p.m. on May 5—will be permitted to vote if they meet registration and identification requirements.

Purdue University describes itself as a public research university with more than 106,000 students across multiple campuses and modalities, including over 57,000 at its main campus locations in West Lafayette and Indianapolis.
