The Problem-Solving Courts Committee announced on April 23 that it is seeking public feedback on proposed amendments to the Problem-Solving Court Rules. The committee said the changes are based on updated Adult Treatment Court Best Practice Standards.

The committee outlined that these amendments aim to align court practices with current best standards, which may affect how problem-solving courts operate in the future. Public participation is encouraged so that a wide range of perspectives can be considered before finalizing any changes.

According to the announcement, major changes are included in the proposal, and interested parties can review the full text of the proposed rules online. Comments from members of the public will be accepted until noon on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Feedback can be submitted either through an online form or by mailing comments directly to the committee. Details for both submission methods are available with the published proposal.

This initiative reflects an ongoing effort by judicial committees to incorporate community input into rulemaking processes.
