Indiana small business owners met for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Indiana third quarter Leadership Council meeting in Pendleton. The event took place at Bitar Field, the site of NFIB member Pete Bitar’s small business, where participants observed a drone demonstration and toured the hangar.
Suzanne Jaworowski, Indiana Secretary of Energy and Natural Resources, attended the meeting to discuss current developments in state energy policy.
“We had a great time at Bitar Field and Indiana’s small business owners had a productive discussion on the state of small business and what they can expect in the coming months,” said Natalie Robinson, NFIB Indiana State Director. “We appreciate Secretary Jaworowski for taking the time to meet with our members and hear their energy concerns.”
Those interested in participating in similar events are encouraged to contact Indiana Grassroots Manager ML McGinty for more information.
The organization is also seeking feedback from members regarding lawsuit abuse affecting small businesses in Indiana through an ongoing survey. The initiative aims to gather input on legal challenges faced by local entrepreneurs.
