The Illinois Primary Health Care Association (IPHCA) has announced details for its upcoming Annual Conference, scheduled for October 7-8 at the Terre Haute Convention Center. The event will feature Ben Glenn, known as “the Chalkguy,” as the keynote speaker. Glenn is expected to bring a unique blend of inspiration and creativity to the conference.

Attendees can look forward to more than 20 sessions covering various topics related to clinical practice, operations, and leadership.

In addition to conference news, IPHCA hosted a one-day symposium titled “Realize and Revitalize: Embracing Maternal and Child Health.” The event was well-received, and this month’s update includes highlights from the day along with a new Maternal & Child Health page dedicated to Cord Blood Awareness Month.

The July edition also acknowledges World Hepatitis Day and National Cleft & Craniofacial Awareness & Prevention Month. Furthermore, IPHCA has launched a new Community Health Center (CHC) Dental Services Directory.

Additional resources and training opportunities are available from IPHCA’s Clinical, Oral Health, Outreach & Enrollment (O&E), and Improving Quality in Network (IQIN) teams.

Members are reminded that logging into the IPHCA website is now required to access the resource center and events calendar; however, no password is needed for login.
