Introducing CHS Polytechnic!

Beginning the 2023-2024 school year, several departments emphasizing hands-on learning and experiential education will now be within Polytechnic’s programming framework. Doing so will provide our students with the richest educational experiences to prepare them for college and careers with real-world opportunities and skill acquisition through a challenging curriculum. Courses are available as individual electives or taken as part of a series to fulfill the requirements for an Indiana Graduation Pathway.

Renovation plans to accommodate the Polytechnic Department at the high school were shared with the School Board on December 12, 2023. Construction would begin in October 2023 and take about 12 months to complete if approved.
