The Indiana Primary Care Association (IPHCA) has announced a new partnership with the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) focused on chronic disease management. The collaboration, part of IDOH’s Learning Collaborative, aims to provide health centers with resources and strategies to improve care for patients managing chronic conditions.
IPHCA is also preparing for its Annual Conference, scheduled for October 7 and 8 in Terre Haute. The event will feature a full lineup of speakers and a conference app to help attendees plan their schedules and connect with colleagues. Organizers say the program will include sessions and keynotes designed to offer practical tools for supporting whole-person care in communities.
In addition, IPHCA will mark National Health Center Week from August 3 to 9, highlighting the role of community health centers and recognizing healthcare providers across Indiana.
Other topics covered this month include National Immunization Awareness Month, back-to-school health concerns such as vaping and mental health, National Breastfeeding Month, as well as updates from IPHCA’s clinical teams.
Access to IPHCA’s resource center and events calendar now requires logging into their website.
