Older Driver Safety Awareness Week serves as a reminder that driving safely is important at any age. As people grow older, factors such as medical conditions, medications, and memory can impact their driving abilities. The Indiana Department of Transportation’s Hoosier Helpers, sponsored by GEICO, offer support to older drivers by providing roadside assistance and aiding law enforcement during Silver Alerts to help locate missing seniors.

“Let’s support the older drivers in our lives with resources, technology, and honest conversations—because safety is for every generation,” the organization said.
