The Indiana Chamber of Commerce announced on May 29 that it is accepting nominations for its annual statewide honors recognizing outstanding business and civic leadership. Nominations are open through Friday, June 26, with winners to be honored at the 37th Annual Awards Dinner in Indianapolis on November 5.

The organization will present several awards: The Ogletree Deakins Business Leader of the Year recognizes a Hoosier business leader who has demonstrated excellence in enhancing their organization and contributing to the broader business community. The Birch Bayh-Richard Lugar Government Leader of the Year highlights a government leader dedicated to advancing Indiana’s business environment. The NextEra Energy Resources Dynamic Leader of the Year honors an individual whose impact extends beyond their own organization by supporting goals outlined in the Chamber’s Indiana Prosperity 2035 plan. Additionally, the Yamaha Community of the Year award acknowledges an Indiana community that has achieved significant improvements in its local business climate and overall growth during the past year.
